A people dog in a tower
Goldendoodles are bred to be companions, and they are prone to separation anxiety. In a tower, the signs are hard to hide: whining at the door, barking that carries down the corridor, and chewed door frames. That is how most dog complaints in a society begin.
Teach alone time from the first week
- Start with a few minutes in another room, then a quick trip to the lift and back.
- Leave a stuffed chew or food puzzle each time, so being alone predicts something good.
- Keep departures and returns calm and low-key.
- Build up slowly, and step back a stage if your puppy cries.
Be honest about the working day
An adult Goldendoodle that has learned to settle can usually manage around four hours alone. If everyone in the family is out from nine to seven, arrange a walker, daycare or family help before the puppy comes home. It is the single biggest factor in whether a Goldendoodle is happy in a flat.
Society parks and the Sector 137 dog park
A Goldendoodle usually loves other dogs, and a society with a proper green gives it a place to meet them. Noida also has a dedicated dog park: the Noida Authority opened the city's first in Sector 137, on a site of about two acres next to the metro station, in June 2023. In 2024 it was reported that only dogs registered with the Authority are let in, so registration comes first.
Before the first visit
- Wait until your vet says your puppy's vaccinations are complete.
- Practise a reliable recall at home and in a quiet corner of the society first.
- Go at quieter times, so your puppy's first meetings are calm ones.
Reading the play
Young Goldendoodles are enthusiastic greeters, and not every dog enjoys a 20 kg adolescent bounding up. Call your dog away if the other dog stiffens, turns away or tucks its tail, and take a break when play gets rough. Good play has pauses and swaps of who chases whom.
Society rules on dogs in parks vary. Check them before you commit, and keep your dog leashed where the rules say so.
Sterilisation and registration

Timing for a large Goldendoodle
The policy says sterilisation is required; it is your vet who can best advise when. For a large dog that keeps growing until 12 to 18 months, many vets prefer to wait until it is closer to fully grown. Bath day in a flat
A grown Goldendoodle weighs 20 to 30 kg and carries a lot of coat, so bathing one in a flat takes planning.
- Put a non-slip mat in the shower and teach your puppy to step in calmly while it is still small enough to lift.
- Brush out tangles before the bath. Water tightens mats, and they are much harder to remove afterwards.
- Dry to the skin with a dryer, on a cool or warm setting, then comb through. A damp doodle coat left to air-dry in an air-conditioned flat stays wet at the skin for hours.
- Keep a towel by the door for rainy-season walks, so wet paws and legs are dried before they reach the sofa.

Delivery
When we deliver, your puppy travels by car with a responsible person and is handed to you in person. Puppies are never sent alone as cargo.
