Standard Poodle Puppies for Gurugram
A Standard Poodle can thrive in a Gurugram tower, if your working day leaves room for it. Here is how to judge that honestly, what MCG registration involves, how to keep a curly coat clean in the dust, and what our Bathinda-bred puppies cost.

The Royal Paws breeds Standard Poodles in Bathinda for families across India, including Gurugram. Puppies are ₹85,000 to ₹3,00,000 depending on lineage and KCI papers. The biggest Gurugram question is not the flat but the working day: this is a clever, people-focused dog that should not be alone from morning to night. Read our Standard Poodle breed guide for temperament and health, or call 7791901085 to talk it through.
The Gurugram question: who is home during the day?
Long office hours and long commutes are a normal part of Gurugram life. They are also the most common reason a Standard Poodle ends up unhappy. This breed bonds closely with its people, and a bored, lonely Poodle finds its own entertainment: chewing, barking, or pacing the flat. Before you buy, be honest about what a normal weekday looks like.
The first weeks
A puppy of eight to twelve weeks needs feeding, toilet breaks and company every few hours. Plan for someone to be at home for the first two to three weeks, whether that means leave, working from home, or a family member staying.
After that
- A midday dog walker breaks up the day with a walk and a toilet break.
- Doggy daycare on office days suits a sociable Poodle well.
- Hybrid work helps: a Poodle copes far better with two long days a week than with five.
- Mental work before you leave: a morning walk plus a puzzle feeder or short training session leaves a Poodle ready to rest.
If your routine genuinely leaves a dog alone for ten hours a day with no help, tell us. We would rather talk about timing, or a later litter, than place a puppy in a home that will struggle.
Registering your Standard Poodle in Gurugram
The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) made registration of pet dogs mandatory across its area in an order dated 23 June 2026. As reported at the time:
- How: online, through the Saral Haryana portal.
- Documents: your identification, photographs of the dog, and its immunisation and rabies vaccination certificates.
- Fee: a one-time ₹500 for dogs not already registered.
- In public: dogs must be kept under control on a leash in public places, parks and common areas, with muzzles where the civic authorities prescribe them.
Why your puppy's paperwork matters here
Gurugram has asked for ownership documents before. Under its earlier registration norms, reported in December 2022, owners of foreign breeds were asked for documents such as a pet book and importer details, and many who had bought from traders could not produce them. A Standard Poodle bred in India by a named breeder is a much simpler case, but only if you keep the records.
Keep your puppy's vaccination and deworming records, vet health check and our breeder details together from day one, along with the KCI papers if your puppy is KCI registered. You will need the vaccination certificates to register, and the rest shows clearly where your dog came from. Rules change, so check the current requirements on the portal when you register.
Dust, heat and a curly coat
Gurugram has a great deal of ongoing construction, and the dust matters for a Standard Poodle more than for most dogs. It settles into the curly coat, works down towards the skin and speeds up matting.
- Brush more often. Go right down to the skin, and do it more often than the usual three to four times a week on dusty weeks.
- Wipe down after walks with a damp cloth, paying attention to the legs, belly and beard.
- Keep a short sport clip. A full show trim looks striking but traps dust and heat. A short, even clip is far easier to keep clean, but never shave to the skin.
- Choose the groomer for skill, not the salon's address. Ask whether they scissor a Poodle coat rather than only clipping it. Budget around ₹1,500 to ₹3,500 a session every six to eight weeks.
The heat follows the NCR pattern: walk before 7 am from March onward, test the pavement with the back of your hand, and keep midday indoors. Our month-by-month NCR care guide covers the full year, including the winter smog weeks.
Gated societies and high-rise towers
Many Gurugram societies are large gated complexes with internal green space, which suits a Standard Poodle well: the daily walk is right outside. Check your society's rules on large dogs before you commit, and plan for the lift being part of every walk, twice a day.
A big dog waiting for a lift in a busy tower needs to be calm around strangers, and that is a training job to start in the first week. For more detail, see what the Animal Welfare Board of India says about pets and lifts and our advice on the first weeks with a puppy in a high-rise, both of which apply just as well in Gurugram.
From Bathinda to Gurugram
Our puppies are raised in Bathinda, about 300 km from Gurugram by road. You can collect your puppy from us in Bathinda, which is also the best chance to meet the parents and see where the litter was raised. When we deliver, your puppy travels by car with a responsible person and is handed to you in person. Puppies are never sent alone as cargo. We do not transport puppies in extreme heat; the journey waits for a safe day. Before delivery, we set up a live video call so you can see your puppy and its mother. Ask us about delivery timing and any cost for your city before you book.
Choose the handover day around your work
Whether you collect or we deliver, pick a handover day that begins a stretch when someone can be home, such as the start of your leave or a run of work-from-home days. The first few nights and days set the pattern for everything that follows.
Why a high price proves nothing
In a city with plenty of money, some sellers price high precisely because it looks trustworthy. A big number is easy to set, and it tells you nothing about where a puppy was raised or how. Judge any seller on what they can show you:
- The mother, live, in person or on an unedited video call
- The room where the litter is actually raised
- The vaccination and deworming card, vet certificate and parent health records
- KCI documents, if you are paying for a KCI-registered puppy
Our prices are published below and are the same for every buyer. What we show you is what you should expect from any breeder.

Standard Poodles in Gurugram: Your Questions
I work long office hours in Gurugram. Can I still have a Standard Poodle?
Only with a plan. A young puppy cannot be left alone for a full working day plus commute, and even an adult Standard Poodle struggles with nine or ten hours alone. If that is your day, you will need someone at home for the first weeks, then a dog walker or daycare for the midday gap. Tell us your routine when you enquire and we will be honest about whether now is the right time.
Do I need to register my Standard Poodle with the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram?
Yes. Under the MCG order of June 2026, registering pet dogs is mandatory. Registration is done online through the Saral Haryana portal with your ID, photographs of the dog and its vaccination certificates, including rabies, for a one-time fee of ₹500. Check the current process on the portal when your puppy comes home.
Which documents should I keep for my puppy in Gurugram?
Keep everything that comes with your puppy together: the vaccination and deworming records, the vet health check, our breeder details, and the KCI papers if your puppy is KCI registered. You need the vaccination records for MCG registration, and a clear paper trail shows where your dog came from if you are ever asked.
How does Gurugram's construction dust affect a Standard Poodle's coat?
Dust settles into a curly coat and works down towards the skin, which speeds up matting. Brush right down to the skin more often than the usual three to four times a week, wipe the coat after dusty walks, and keep it in a short sport clip so it is easier to keep clean.
What is the price of a Standard Poodle puppy for Gurugram?
Our Standard Poodle puppies cost ₹85,000 to ₹3,00,000: pet quality ₹85,000 to ₹1,30,000, KCI registered ₹1,30,000 to ₹2,00,000, and champion bloodline ₹2,00,000 to ₹3,00,000. The price is the same wherever you live. Ask us about delivery timing and any cost for Gurugram before you book.
Can I get a Standard Poodle puppy delivered to Gurugram?
Bathinda is about 300 km from Gurugram by road. Yes. Your puppy travels by car with a responsible person, never alone as cargo, and we set up a live video call with you before delivery. Ask us about delivery timing and any cost for your city before you book. You can collect your puppy from us in Bathinda, which is also the best chance to meet the parents and see where the litter was raised.
Is a very expensive puppy a sign of a genuine breeder?
No. A high price is easy to set and proves nothing about where a puppy was raised. Judge a seller on whether you can see the mother live, the room the litter is raised in, and the vaccination, vet and parent health records. Those are the checks we expect you to make with us too.
